About Sadie
I have extensive hands-on experience working with horses in vet clinics, professional show facilities, and private barn settings, including daily care, handling, and basic riding. My background includes feeding programs, stall cleaning, turnout, extensive grooming, blanketing, administering medications, and monitoring for signs of illness or injury as well as basic first aid. I’m comfortable working with a range of temperaments—from seasoned, well-trained horses to fresh born foals, young colts or more reactive individuals—and prioritize safety, consistency, and low-stress handling at all times.
In addition to routine care, I have experience assisting with veterinary and farrier visits, and I’m confident recognizing when something is “off” and acting quickly. My approach to equine care reflects my broader work through Sadie Grace Sits, where I provide attentive, detail-oriented farm sitting that keeps animals on their normal routine and ensures their overall health and well-being.
